Why guru is important in life?

I am not talking about only spiritual guru but also in each and every aspect of life guru is important. Guru means who have already achieved the goal which you are starting now. Guru is your time and energy savior.

Let's take an example of person a and person b. They both have same car and same petrol. And they want to go in same city. Now person a ask anybody who has already reached there. Means he is his guru now. He gives some instruction like from which city person a can reach earlier. And also tell him some shortcut. So he will reach his destination earlier. Person a will save his time and money.

Now person b is egoistic . he don't want any guru. He goes by his own . so he goes to the wrong direction. So he lost more petrol . also he will reach late or possible he cant reach to his destination.

So with the help of guru person a saved his time and money. While person b lost his time and money.

So if you have spiritual goal to reach god first find spiritual guru who is near to god. If you have business goal first go to any successful businessman. Take his ideas and follow his instruction. Whatever your goal may be first find guru. Without guru you cant reach your goal.
